Pre School Program
Life Ready, School Ready
Our preschool program strives to create a harmonious and enriching environment that supports the unique journey of each child. With our guiding principles, we aim to foster successful lifelong learners who actively contribute to their world and are ready for big school and beyond.
Life Ready, School Ready is designed to nurture the holistic development of both Junior Preschool (3.5-4 year olds) and Senior Preschool (4-5 year olds) through play-based learning in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) learning outcomes.

Workshops
Senior preschool will participate in workshops over the week to work with their teachers in their two groups. The children will be in two groups of mixed developmental stages (in line with Vygotsky's ZPD where children can learn from more knowledgeable peers).
Fine Motor Workshop
Focuses on the development of children’s hand eye coordination skills, hand muscle and midline development and pencil grip through play-based interactive weekly experiences. Through creating a workshop that encompasses these four main areas will allow for the educators to assist the children in reaching their fine motor goals.
Numbers Workshop
Focuses on incorporating numeracy areas such as counting by rote, identifying numbers, numbers in written and objective form. This workshop builds the basic mathematical concepts to assist on their mathematical learning journey.
Letters Workshop
Focuses on the following early literacy learning areas of letter recognition, phonological awareness, language expression, rhyming and recognition of upper and lower case. This workshop is the foundation of children’s development into reading and writing as they progress through their education journey.
STEM Workshop
This workshop stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. During this time the children will be introduced to science concepts, technology, engineering, and mathematical concepts as well as measurement, space, statistics, probability/hypothesising and sequencing which will be demonstrated through an exciting play-based group.
Name Recognition Workshop
As a child’s name is the foundation for their sense of identity, this workshop assists children in identifying their whole name in written form, understanding its phonological awareness, individual letter recognition and being able to write their name identifiably. Through working alongside the children during this time will create a stronger sense of belonging within themselves.
